Azerbaijan, US eye military cooperation

Azerbaijani defence minister Colonel-General Safar Abiyev on Friday met a US delegation headed by the Commander of US Transportation Command William Fraser.

According to the Defense Ministry, they exchanged views on the issues of military cooperation between US and Azerbaijan, the situation in the region and Azerbaijan’s participation in the peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan.
