
President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari will attend the summit of the heads of state of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Baku, Spokesman for the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Moazzam Ahmad Khan told journalists.
The summit of the heads of state of the Economic Cooperation Organization will be held in Baku on October 16. The organization was established by Turkey, Iran and Pakistan in 1985. Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan joined the organization in 1992.
