Russian diplomat says Baku Humanitarian Forum has great future

The Humanitarian Forum in Baku has a great future , the special representative of Russian president on international cultural cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoi , heading Russian delegation at International Humanitarian Forum 'XXI century: hopes and challenges', which started on Thursday in Baku, stated.

"The second forum has demonstrated attractiveness of this platform for discussion of fundamental issues, faced by humanity. Participation of 10 presidents, 10 Nobel laureates, scientists, high level political scientists proves the serious platform of this forum. In spite of variety of different platforms, there aren't many analogs to Baku forum,"Mikhail Shvydkoi  added.

In addition, according to special representative of Russian president on international cultural cooperation, the number of problems , which have to be discussed within the forum, are increasing year after year.

In Shvydkoi 's words, the venue of forum is chosen not accidentally.

"We have chosen Azerbaijan and Baku as a place where different cultures and traditions cross.This is a completely European city with Europe oriented population. This is why it is unique," Shvydkoi  noted.

He also stressed that Baku is improving rapidly in recent years, and forum guests were astonished by its beauty.
