Francois Frattini:'Organization of such a Forum in Baku is a landmark event'

“The International Humanitarian Forum in Baku is important not only for Azerbaijan, but also for the entire world,” said the former foreign minister of Italy Franco Frattini, who is in Baku to join the International Humanitarian Forum.

The ex-foreign minister stated that the Forum under the patronage of the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev cerates solid ground to ensure international security for peace and develop the dialogue among the nations. “Organization of such a Forum in Baku is a landmark event. Azerbaijan is, indeed, a bridge connecting Europe and Asia”, Frattini underlined.

According to the ex-foreign minister of Italy, wisdom of the Azerbaijani President has made the forum an important space for exchange of views on vital questions the world is concerned.
