'TurkPA ready for cooperation with leading int'l organizations'

 TurkPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov on Thursday met OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier. They exchanged views on prospects for development of cooperation between TurkPA and OSCE PA.

Zannier praised the cooperation between the two organizations. The OSCE Secretary General said TurkPA would be the best platform for expansion of relations with Central Asia, Afghanistan and other countries, as well as for restoration of stability and peace in Afghanistan and for peaceful settlement of the existing conflicts.

Hasanov noted that parliamentary diplomacy, as part of the global dialogue, would be used as an effective platform for the settlement of all conflicts.

He added TurkPA member countries were continuing their efforts to contribute to the restoration of peace in Afghanistan. Hasanov also said TurkPA was ready for cooperation with leading international organizations, including OSCE.
