Azerbaijani consulate in Kars to assist citizen injured terrorist attack

According to the preliminary data, Azerbaijani citizen, native of Sadarak region, the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was injured in the terrorist attack of militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party in the Turkish province of Igdir, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abdullayev told Trend today.

He added that the Azerbaijani Consulate General in Kars will render necessary assistance to the injured.

The name and surname of the injured have not been identified. According to the preliminary data, his name is Elchin.

Earlier, Turkish media reported that civilians were injured in the PKK militants' attack on military vehicles.
