Turkey surprised over Armenian diaspora’s accusations

 “We are surprised by the accusations from US Armenian diaspora, which is expressing protest against the extradition of Ramil Safarov, who was sentenced to life prison in Hungary for killing of Armenian officer Gurgen Markaryan during the NATO’s training course, and his pardoning by President of Azerbaijan Honorable Ilham Aliyev”, spokesman for the Turkish Foreign Ministry Selcuk Unal told journalists.

He said Turkey didn’t take part in any phase of this process. “Targeting Turkey by groundless claims is a new slanderous campaign by the ill-intentioned forces, who traditionally protest Turkey in any platform”.
