President Ilham Aliyev awarded Peoples` Friendship Order ' of Belarus - UPDATE - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev yesterday visited the Victory monument in Victory Square in Minsk as part of his official visit to Belarus.

The monument was erected to commemorate victory in the Great Patriotic War.
A guard of honor was lined up for the Azerbaijani President at the square.
President Ilham Aliyev laid a wreath at the monument.

The Head of State inspected a ceremonial Guard of Honor as an orchestra played the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Belarus.

A ceremonial guard of honor was set up for the Azerbaijani leader at the Minsk National Airport.

President Ilham Aliyev was welcomed by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko. Following the welcome ceremony the two presidents had a brief talk.
