Turkic Speaking States Cooperation Council establishes its official flag

The Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (CCTS) approved the organisation's official symbol - the flag, CCTS Secretary General Khalil Akinci said at a press conference on Wednesday, KyrTAG reported.

He said the main color of the flag is blue.

"This is the color of the flag of Kazakhstan. In the middle there is a crescent - it is from the Turkish flag. Above the crescent is a star from the flag of Azerbaijan. Outside the crescent are sun rays, which are depicted on the flag of Kyrgyzstan," Akinci said.
