'Tehran intends to strengthen bilateral relation with Baku'

“The expansion of the relations between Azerbaijan and Iran meets the interests of entire region”, Iran’s deputy foreign minister Seyid Abbas Arakchi told “Fars” agency.

He said Tehran intends to strengthen bilateral relations. According to him, even though some countries are against the strengthening of the relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, Baku and Tehran could be able to protect and strengthen this cooperation.

Arakchi called on the officials of the two countries to take necessary steps to make Iran- Azerbaijan relations to be model for other countries. Arakchi will visit Azerbaijan in the near future.
