Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s VP hosts iftar in Moscow - PHOTOS

 The Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s office in the Russian Federation took an active part in the unique charity and cultural-education project Marquee of Ramadan organized by the Council of Muftis of Russia with the support of the Moscow government.

On behalf of Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, the iftar dinner and the Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan was hosted.

Chairman of the Ihlas Foundation Anas Mammadov told of the significance of the holy month of Ramadan and benefits of fastning.

Representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s Office in Russian Federation Ayan Hasanova said the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has participated in the project for many years. She said Leyla Aliyeva hosts iftar dinner for worshippers on one days of the month of Ramadan. They can both have national dishes and listen to musical compositions.

The Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan was attended by representatives of the Azerbaijani embassy to the Russian Federation, the Council of Muftis and government of Moscow.
