OIC condemns Armenia’s occupation policy against Azerbaijan

The Final Declaration of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the occupation policy of Armenia, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.

In the adopted declaration, the OIC countries condemned the aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan and called on Armenia to withdraw its troops from the occupied territories.

Mecca hosted the fourth emergency session of the Islamic Summit on Aug 14-15.

The session discussed issues of concern to Muslim countries and adopted appropriate resolutions on the situation in Syria, Palestine, Mali and Myanmar.

Following the summit a declaration was adopted which reflects the position of member countries on the issues discussed.
