'Karabakh's recourses are exploited by leadership of separatist regime'

The underground resources of Nagorno Karabakh region are exploited by the companies owned by the leadership of the separatist regime there. APA reports that this information was given by Armenia’s “Lragir” newspaper.

The production of gold and copper are being realized within large projects based on the natural resources of Nagorno Karabakh and the newspaper mentions that one of the largest projects on production of coal is being carried out by the “Beytz Metal” company. According to information, the taxes coming to the budget of Nagorno Karabakh regime are mostly falls on this company.

The newspaper also mentions that in fact, Nagorno Karabakh goes on the same way as Armenia. Large projects are realized by the high-ranking officials there. For example, they say in Karabakh that Kalbajar’s gold mines are owned by Bako Saakyan. The regime gives neither financial, nor political support to other owners.

The newspaper mentioned that exploitation of underground recourses of Nagorno Karabakh by private companies is not correct: “The profits coming from the gold of Nagorno Karabakh are taken by the individuals, but the living conditions remains low. The consciousness of society also remains low. It doesn’t demand its legal part from the national resourses. The society doesn’t know who manages these natural resourses, who gains profit from it and why the production of Kalbajar gold is carried out by open method?”
