Chief of Azerbaijan's State Border Service awarded

Chief of State Border Service of Azerbaijan Elchin Guliyev was honored with medal of St. George of the Hungarian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the meeting held in the country`s parliament. Hungarian Minister of Internal Affairs Sándor Pintér presented the medal, which chiefs of border service of UK, Germany and Austria also awarded with, to Elchin Guliyev.

Elchin Guliyev participated in the 20th plenary meeting of the International Conference on Border Issues in Budapest, Hungary on June 5-6. Members of attending delegations were honored for their contribution to cooperation of border issues.

Silver medal “Star” of the International Conference on Border Issues goes to the Azerbaijan State Border Service for its activity in Coastal Management Working Group.

Chief of State Border Service of Azerbaijan held meetings with Frontex Executive Director Ilkka Laitinen and Istvan Samu, Chair of Frontiers International Conference as part of the visit.
The conference brought together representatives of responsible bodies of 32 countries and 7 international organizations.
