Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan mull issues of Caspian division

A meeting of group of experts on division of the Caspian sea bed between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan has been held today at Azerbaijan`s Foreign Ministry.

The meeting was attended by delegations led by Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister Khalaf Khalafov and chairman of the State Enterprise on Issues of the Caspian Sea under the President of Turkmenistan Murat Atajanov.

They discussed issues on division of the Caspian sea bed and draft Convention on legal status of the Caspian Sea. The sides underscored the importance of bilateral and multilateral consultations on the Caspian issues.
