‘Azerbaijan’s population not support opposition rallies’

The ruling New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) said the rally of the Public Chamber scheduled for April 8 will be ineffective.

"Their actions will have no effect, because the majority in the country supports the policy of the President. While the population doesn't support political rallies of the opposition and will never
do," Deputy Executive Secretary of the Party MP Mubariz Gurbanli told Trend.

Gurbanli said the slogans and demands of the opposition do not rely on any program. They have no social base, and the activities they undertake are senseless, Gurbanli said.
