Azerbaijan attends Euronest PA`s meetings

Deputies of the Azerbaijani parliament are participating in the meetings of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, which started on Sunday in Brussels. The Azeri delegation led by Elkhan Suleymanov includes Ali Huseynli, Rovshan Rzayev, Asim Mollazade, Fuad Muradov, Rasim Musabayov, Sevinj Huseynova and Azar Karimli.

A meeting of the Committee on Economic Integration, Legal Approximation and Convergence with EU Policies started today will end on Tuesday. The meeting features a report on trade agreement, free trade zones between the European Union and Eastern Partnership countries and EU`s aid in this sphere, discussions on coordination of legislation in economic sphere in EU partner countries and share of views on cooperation in transport and civil aviation fields.
The sides` relevant suggestions will be considered at the meeting of the Working Group on the Rules of Procedure.

The future of the democracy, also challenges for free and independent media in Eastern Partnership and EU countries will be talked over in the meeting of the committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy. Ali Huseynli will deliver a speech at the meeting to the effect.

Energy Security Committee`s meeting will debate issues on energy security in EU and Eastern Partnership countries. Rasim Musabayov will present report on energy efficiency and renewable energy and its infrastructure at the relevant meeting. The Azeri parliamentarians will share their opinions on the issues at the all meetings of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.
