Chairman of the opposition Azadlig party Chairman Ahmad Oruj said the Public Chamber bring together several parties and individuals. “I think they have thought over [the decision to hold a rally], so now it is illogical to discuss this. But, whether this rally will bring success or failure - that is another question,” he added.
He said the opposition, being weak and inactive, failed to win popular support. "The parties that are the driving force in the opposition camp are not acting in the interests of the people, but in the interests of international organizations. Due to this, these parties are not supported by the public,” he stated.
