“The President of Azerbaijan: His struggle for peace and vision of the future” book presented - PHOTO

A presentation of the book titled “The President of Azerbaijan: His struggle for peace and vision of the future” by Graham Wilson was held here. A video “Azerbaijan in 2003-2011” featuring progress made in Azerbaijan as a result of President Ilham Aliyev`s activity was demonstrated in the event.

Opening the event, head of Azerbaijan`s Presidential Administration, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev pointed out that independence history of Azerbaijan is linked to the national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev. He stressed that national statehood philosophy of Heydar Aliyev is the irreplaceable heritage.

Mehdiyev underlined that the book not only narrates on national leader image of the President Ilham Aliyev, but also features political processes in Azerbaijan and around the country. What else is important about the book is that it is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the country`s independence.

The author of the book Graham Wilson spoke of leadership characteristics of President Ilham Aliyev. The video clip about the book was shown in the event. US ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza, Russian Ambassador Vladimir Dorokhin, President of Turkey`s Bilkent University Ali Dogramaci addressed the event.
