Azerbaijan-Poland relations mulled

Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met with visiting former Polish Foreign Minister, member of the Polish Sejm Mrs. Anna Fotyga During the conversation, the Azeri Minister touched upon Azerbaijan-Poland relations, saying there is huge potential to develop them even more.

The sides underscored the importance of interparliamentary ties and parliamentary diplomacy. Mammadyarov pointed out direct contacts among parliamentarians would give an impetus to the existing political, economic, humanitarian and cultural relationship between the two countries. Discussions also revolved around Poland`s economy, this country`s relations with regional countries and Poland-EU cooperation. Mammadyarov briefed the Polish MP on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
