TurkPA`s meeting kicks off in Turkey

The first meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries (TurkPA) Commission on Legal Issues has today started in Turkish capital.  Mr. Halük İpek, chairman of the commission, member of the Parliament of the Republic of Turkey headed the meeting attended by TURKPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov, parliamentarians from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.

Proposals, after their approval by the Commission, will be presented for adoption in the III plenary session of TURKPA to be held in Bishkek in 2012. The documents will be sent to the parliaments of member countries, as recommendations, with the view of drafting new legislation in this field.
