Exhibition remembers genocides against Azerbaijanis

A photo exhibition featuring genocides committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis has opened in Azerbaijan at the Ataturk Center on the occasion of the Azerbaijanis Genocide Day.

The exhibition showcases photographs depicting mass slaughters committed in 1918 by Armenians in different regions of Azerbaijan, 20 January 1990 massacre, Khojaly tragedy as well as atrocities perpetuated by Armenian armed forces during 1988-1994.

Speakers at the event included Chairman of the Alanya Journalists Society Mehmet Ali Dim, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Parliamentary Journalists Union Elshad Eyvazli, AzerTAc unit head, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Journalists Union Khatai Azizov.

They told of the groundless territorial claims raised by Armenians against Azerbaijanis and Turks and atrocities committed by Armenians.

The exhibition was initiated by the Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AzerTAc), Azerbaijan Parliamentary Journalists Union and organized by Turkish Journalists Federation and Alanya Journalists Society.
