Program of 3rd International Music Festival in Gabala made public

The program of the 3rd International Music Festival in Gabala has been confirmed. Spokesperson for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Zohra Aliyeva said that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism had been entrusted to hold the 3rd International Musical Festival in Gabala.

The 2nd international contest of the pianists will be held within the framework of the 3rd International Music Festival. Musicians and groups from Russia, UK, Israel, US, Norway, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Germany – Yuri Bashmet and New Russia symphony orchestra, Boris Berezovski, Denis Matsuyev, Sergey Krilov, Anna Samuil, Sergei Leyferkus, Oksana Yablonskaya, Dmitry Yablonski, Massimiliano Pisapia and others will participate in the festival.

Ministry of Culture and Tourism has set up an Organizing Committee and Working Group with the view of organizing the event. Chairman of the organizing committee is Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev, art director of the festival is rector of Baku Music Academy Farhad Badalbeyli, chief of art department of the ministry Farah Aliyeva and director of Azerbaijan Philharmonic Society Murad Adigozalzadeh are members of the committee.

A lot of famous figures from Azerbaijan and other countries will participate in the festival. The solemn opening ceremony of the 3rd International Music Festival in Gabala will be held on July 30, the closing ceremony on August 5.
