"Eurovision -2012" selection round in Azerbaijan to launch in September

Number of countries to participate in "Eurovision -2011" song contest will be defined till mid January. According to AzerTAc, countries willing to participate should inform the European Broadcasting Union till the appointed deadline.

Note that, the previous contest held in Düsseldorf involved 43 countries.

The selection round for Azerbaijan is expected to kick off in September. The round's format is not yet determined.  A singer to represent Azerbaijan will be defined by late January.
