Winner of Eurovision 2010: I like Azerbaijani representatives' song

"I like Azerbaijan’s Eurovision 2011 song. Your song is easily remembered and we all sing Running Scared when we hear it," Lena Meyer, winner of Eurovision 2010, who will represent Germany in the 56th Eurovision song contest with the song Taken by a Stranger, said.. She said she believes that Azerbaijan’s representatives will have a success this year.

Last year’s winner said she does not see any of the representatives as a rival.

"I myself decided to participate in the contest this year. I do not regret that I am here for the second time. My main goal is to represent my country, I do not think about anything else," she said.

Lena noted that it is easier for her to participate in the contest this year.

"This year my country is hosting the contest. It is easier for me to perform in my motherland. Every time I find something new here. I do not know how I will present the award to myself, if I win this year, too," she said.

Lena Meyer treated the journalists to the pastry made by her. After the rehearsal Lena came to the press conference barefooted. She apologized to the journalists saying fruit juice was spilt on her shoes. Unlike other representatives, the representative of Germany photographed the journalists at the press conference and filmed the conference.

Lena Meyer won the Eurovision 2010 in Oslo. She will perform directly in the final on May 14.
