Azerbaijan Chamber Orchestra gives concert as part of international music festival

The Gara Garayev Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra has given a concert as part of an international music festival in Baku, which marks the 125th anniversary of Azerbaijan's outstanding composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli. The soloists of the concert, conducted by Azerbaijan Honored Art Worker Ismayil Hajiyev, included professor at Moscow Conservatory Nina Cogan and Toronto Royal Conservatory`s professor Atis Bankas.

The concert featured the performance of works by Azerbaijani and world composers, including Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Gara Garayev and Dmitri Shostakovich. Head of humanitarian policy department at the Azerbaijani President's Administration Fatma Abdullazade was among the audience at the concert.
