Funds Azerbaijan spent on "Eurovision-2010" announced

Azerbaijan spent 1,560,000 manat, much lower than unofficial estimations reported earlier, head of the Azerbaijan’s Eurovision-2010 delegation Adil Karimli said.

This sum also includes the funds spent to buy Drip-Drop song, he added.

The amount of money Azerbaijan spent for Eurovision-2010 is 30 percent less than the amount the country spent for Aysel&Arash duo in 2009.

Three companies were our sponsors. One of them is SOCAR. We will not disclose names of the other two at their own request, Karimli said. These companies financed 80 percent of Safura Alizade's partipation with remaining 20 percent being financed by the Public TV, he noted.
