Oprah reigns as TV favourite

Oprah Winfrey has reclaimed her position as America's top television personality, up three places from last year, according to the Harris Poll, conducted by Harris Interactive.

In a poll of 2,276 adults surveyed between December 7 and December 14, 2009, the talk show host was followed by Fox News personality Glenn Beck in second place and Jay Leno in third, who fell from last year's top spot.

This year's results come after the announcement that Winfrey will be discontinuing her long-running daytime talk show in September 2011.
