Sandra Bullock has admitted that she is "baffled" by her recent success.
Bullock, who stars as Leigh Anne Tuohy in The Blind Side, has just won the best actress award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the lead actress in a drama award at the Golden Globes.
Meanwhile, she shared the prize for best actress with Meryl Streep at the Critics' Choice Awards.
"I love doing what I love doing, but it's not a road that leads to this place," Bullock told People. "It's just been completely baffling and unexpected and overwhelming and sweet and fun."
She also praised the actors and actresses she has met recently, describing them as "humble".
"I've met the greatest people," she said. "You sit at tables and you look at fellow actors who you've known but you don't know, and everyone is so humble and great. There's not an ego anywhere to be found."
