Music unites Azerbaijani and Cuban musicians

Latin musician Yanssel Castellon and his band Los Amigos has surprised music lovers with a new video "En Casa" (At Home).

The project brought together Azerbaijan`s talented musicians Samira Rajabli (back vocal), Farid Agayev (piano), Sheida Alaskarova (flute), Rashid Aliyev (violin), Ismayil Zulfugarov (tar), Aykhan Ismayillt (drums) and Turan Isazade (trumpet).

Each musician recorded his performance at home. Then all the records were mounted in one video.  The musical project was met with great interest. 

Notably, Yanssel Castellon is a powerful Cuban artist, singer, bass player, composer, arranger and director.

He had a lot of chance with his father's band to play older talented musicians and had so many experiences; Yanssel was only 15 years old when he had his first stage experience together with some of them and he was on the percussions. 
 
He graduated (bass guitar) from Conservatory of  "Alejandro Garcia Caturla"  (2002) in Havana, Cuba.
 
In 2008-2011, Yanssel Castellon worked as a professionel musician; bassist, singer, musical director, composer and arranger at  "Centro Musical Adolfo Guzman Co." in Havana, Cuba.
 
He continued his music career in Turkey and successfully represented his latin Cuba music in 2011-2018. Yanssel Castellon is a founder of Latin Cuba Orchestra Yanssel & Los Amigos (Turkey-Azerbaijan).
 
His father is a professional guitar player and he was born into a very famous Cuban musician  family who called Egües. 
 
Richard Egües, nicknamed "la flauta mágica" (the magic flute)  successfully represented Cuba abroad.
