Seeking dancers and singers for Broadway style musical

The Azerbaijan Dance Association, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan announces auditions for a World Premiere Musical written and directed by Aziz Azizov.

The world premiere will take place at the Heydar Aliyev Palace on September 22, Trend Life reported.

U.S. choreographers Philip Baraoidan and Paul Gordon Emerson and Musical Director Amikaeyla Gaston together with Aziz Azizov are working on a joint project.

Audition for dancers:

DATE: Tuesday, June 12, 2018
TIME: 11am – 6pm
LOCATION: Azerbaijan, Baku, Istiglaliyyet str 31A - Azerbaijan Dance Association
REQUIREMENTS:   Dancers between the ages of 16 and 35 years of age
Must have previous training in either Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Ballroom and Hip-Hop

REHEARSALS: Tuesday, June 12 – Saturday, June 23, 2018 and throughout the summer under the direction of Mr. Azizov and American artists.          

Audition for Singers:

DATE: MONDAY, JUNE 19, 2018
TIME: 11am – 6pm
LOCATION: Azerbaijan, Baku, Istiglaliyyet str 31A – Azerbaijan Dance Association
REQUIREMENTS:  Previous VOCAL training. AUDITION must include a prepared song of the vocalist’s choice reflecting Broadway skills. 
REHEARSALS: Monday, June 19 – Saturday, June 23 and additional rehearsals as required by the Production.
