Marvelous evening of mugham music

The winner of the 6th "Mugham" TV competition Parviz Gasimov has given a concert in Baku.

The gala evening took place in the International Mugham Center on October 26, Trend Life reported.

The  event was held as part of project "Where the mugham lives", organized by the International Mugham Center, TV channel "M?d?niyy?t " (Culture) and the Azerbaijani radio.

Mugham compositions, including "Mirz? Hüseyn segah?", "Qaraba? ?ik?st?si", folk songs "D?li ceyran", "Xumar oldum", tesnifs "Dilke?", "?ik?steyi-fars", works by Gabil Aliyev  "M?n g?lmi??m siz? qonaq", "Ya?a m?h?bb?tim" delighted the audience.

Parviz performed  together with ensemble "U?ur", conducted by Altay Niftaliyev.

The ensemble consists of Altay Niftaliyev (tar), which includes Araz Agaverdiyev (kamancha), Aysu Sadigova (canon), Ghalib Gashimov (ud), Valeh Aslanov (piano), Suleyman Aliyev (balaban), Ramin Abdullayev (nagara), Tarlan Murshudov (gosha-nagara).

By the way, International Mugham Center will host the evening dedicated to mugham modes  "Orta Mahur" and "Rahab" on November 1.
