YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites everyone to enjoy “Second Bullet”, a short film by a young director Natig Rauslov.
The film's screening will take place on February 28.
"Second Bullet" features events happening during the wedding day in one Azerbaijani village. In order to inform all villagers about the outcome of the first wedding night, people resort to tradition named “second bullet”. But, due to a small mistake, all things go wrong and characters confront difficult situation.
The producer of the film is Nariman Mammadov, cinematographer-Kirill Gerra, executive producer-Emin Guliyev.The cast includes honored artists Vidadi Hasanov, Nasiba Eldarova, Husniyya Murvatova, actors Manaf Dadashov, Elmin Badalov, Elgun Hamidov and Leyla Valiyeva.
Film will be shown in Azerbaijani language.
The even will start at 19:00.
YARAT is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to nurturing an understanding of contemporary art in Azerbaijan and to creating a platform for Azerbaijani art, both nationally and internationally. Based in Baku, YARAT (meaning CREATE in Azerbaijani) was founded by Aida Mahmudova in 2011.
YARAT realizes its mission through an on-going program of exhibitions, education events and festivals. YARAT facilitates exchange between local and international artistic networks including foundations, galleries and museums.
