Azerbaijan was represented at the 48th International Festival-Bazaar organized by the United Nations Women's Guild (UNWG) in Vienna, Azertac reported.
The vibrant festival has turned into a celebration of the world culture.
National dishes and sweets made by wives of employees of Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Austria and Azerbaijanis living in the country were presented to thousands of visitors.
In the gifts section, Azerbaijan's booth featured local ware, as well as products of Gilan company.
Moreover, food and drinks section highlighted special foods and drinks offered by kitchens from over 40 countries.
Visitors have the opportunity to taste all of the different cuisines in the main halls of the Bazaar, including Azerbaijani gutab, and purchase international items like Colombian chocolate, Japanese Sakuramochi and much more.
The United Nations Women's Guild (UNWG) is an all volunteer organization and all funds raised during the year and at the International Festival-Charity Bazaar are distributed to children’s charities throughout the world. These charities provide a huge range of services and equipment including medical equipment, immunizations, clean drinking water, nutritional aid, and other crucial assistance.
The purpose of the Guild shall be to assist children in need and/or mother-child care programs throughout the world, and to serve as a mutual bond and center of interest for women connected with the United Nations Organizations in Vienna.
