Int'l Ceramics Symposium kicks off in Baku

An International Ceramics Duet Symposium kicked off in Baku, Trend Life reported.

The joint project of Azerbaijan Ceramics Center and Arts Council Azerbaijan is realized within the framework of the “Regional Art and Culture Project in the South Caucasus”, which is managed by the Culture and Management Lab with financial support of the Swiss Cooperation Office for the South Caucasus (SCO).

Professional artists, ceramic masters from CIS countries and the rest of the world gathered under one roof in Baku to show all the beauty of  contemporary art.

The exhibition offers ceramicists an invaluable opportunity to exhibit ceramic production traditions of Azerbaijan.

The event brought together two ceramic masters Mirteymur Mammadov and Moldavian artist  Valentin Rusu.

For two weeks, the artists will create a collection that will be based on contemporary art works of different types and genres.

Last time, the duet symposium brought together two ceramic masters Mirteymur Mammadov from Azerbaijan and Artem Gorislavec from Kazakhstan.
