Enjoy free dance classes in Baku!

Baku Boulevard, one of the most picturesque places of the capital city, continues to host open dance classes for those who are fond of dancing.

Dance workouts attract attention of more and more people with each passing class.  

The project featuring fiery music and dance videos have already attracted regular participants willing to learn new skills and experience positive emotions.

The dance classes are open to everyone. Open lessons are held near the State Puppet Theatre named after Abdulla Shaig each Sunday from 18:00 to 21:00. All lessons are free.

The project that features dances of foreign cultures and national dances is organized jointly by Azerbaijan Dance Association jointly with the Culture and Tourism Ministry with assistance of Jam SS studio and National Seaside Park Department.

The first day of the event featured national dances that gathered a lot of participants and spectators.

The second week featured hip-hop and latino dances. Andrew Freeman, three-time champion of Azerbaijan and the world champion according to the World Dance Organization, showed the basics of hip-hop, while Khayal Ahmadov gave master-class in  salsa.

On the third Sunday, guests were surprised with open lessons of Indian dances with Solmaz Arti.

During the three week, the dance lessons have been attended by about 5,000 people.

The main audience consists of children and youth, but also older generation is not far behind.

The project also attracts many tourists who don't hesitate to join the fun.

The next dance classes will kick off on August 14 in the following dance styles:

18:00-Hip-hop (Andrew Freeman)

18:40- Indian (Solmaz Arti)

19:20- Folk ( Nijat Ibrahimli)

20:00- Latino ( Khayal Akhmedov, Veronica Talibova)

20:4- Lezginka ( Vugra Ragimov)
