National artists awarded int’l price

The second edition of international exhibition "Art without borders" has been opened in Baku office of the World Academy of Arts «New Era», Trend Life reported.

The art event brought together prominent public, culture and art figures. The exhibition features over 70 works of artists from Turkey, Russia, Bulgaria, Iran, Georgia and other countries. The diversity of patterns, colors, used by artists aroused great interest among visitors.

The event also included an awarding ceremony of famous artist and director of the representative office of the WAA «New Era» in Azerbaijan, Arif Aziz.

The artist received the 1st class Grand Cross of the Order of Merit for tolerance in creativity and art without borders from European Academy of Natural Science and European Scientific Society.

The award and the diploma were handed over by a full member of the European Academy of Natural Sciences, artist Solmaz Amanova.

Then, honored artist of Azerbaijan, member of the Union of Artists, Sakit Mammadov was awarded "Golden Crown" for creation of a new direction in art, including the using of the mineraloid Opal.

Georgian artist Rizvan Ismail received the Turkic Order of Friendship from Ismayil Khatai Fund.

The exhibition became another contribution of Azerbaijani art figures in the treasure house of world culture.

The public noncommercial organization "World Academy of Arts "New Era" is registered in 2007, in Russia. The aim of the Academy is to provide services in the sphere of culture and art, to create modern international center of studying and assistance of the fine art development as well as to research arts, cultural traditions of the world, to work out plans and actions of their preservation and development.
