"Baku, I love you" film to be presented soon

The Heydar Aliyev Center will host a presentation of the film-project "Baku, I Love You" with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on October 23-25.

Directors of the project produced at Mosfilm are Yegor Konchalovsky and Nadir Machanov.

The project consists of 10 short stories: "Asia," "Meeting," "Artist," "Court," "Bahram Gur", "Caspian Atlantis," "Lottery ticket," "On love," "Aysel" and "Event".

Tickets for "Baku, I Love You" film to be demonstrated at the Heydar Aliyev Center can be purchased at the Center's box office.

The preparation process was launched in November 2011. Along with Azerbaijani actors Rasim Balayev, Mabud Maharramov, Lalazar Mustafayeva, Shamil Suleymanli, Bahram Baghirzade, Ayshad Mammadov, Sanuber Isgandarli, famous actors invited from Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Uzbekistan are starring in the films.

Filming was launched on 12 March 2012 and consisted of two sessions. During the spring and summer session (March-April and June-July), five films were shot. During crowd scenes, the project involved over 150 actors.

Each screen work reflects different moments of the everyday life in Baku. Short films show the relationship between people, their love, happy and sad moments. The protagonist unites these people in Baku. The film is a kind of recognition of the actors and directors in their love of Baku. Earlier "Paris, je t'aime," "New York, I Love You", "Moscow, I love you." Films were screened under this project.
