Solemn closing ceremony of International Mugham Festival held in Baku - PHOTOS

“The Space of Mugham” 3rd International Mugham Festival has today come to an end with a solemn ceremony at the State Philharmonic Hall in Baku.

Organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Azerbaijan Composers Union, the 10-day festival featured a scientific symposium, a contest of young mugham performers, as well as a series of concerts in the capital city and in the country`s districts.

Speakers at the closing ceremony included culture and tourism minister Abulfas Garayev and chairwoman of the Composers Union, the festival`s artistic director Firangiz Alizade.
The event ended with a ceremony to award the winners of the festival.
