
An exhibition “Baku and Bakuvites” by Honorary Artist Ashraf Heybatov has been launched in the house of Azerbaijan in Berlin on Wednesday.
The exhibition was co-organized by House of Azerbaijan in Berlin and the Coordination Center of Azerbaijanis in Germany. Opening the event, head of the Coordination Center of Azerbaijanis in Germany Samira Patzer-Ismayilova gave information about the painter.
She noted that chairwoman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organizations of Russia and vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyev opened the exhibition “Baku and Bakuvites” in Moscow for the first time.
Other speakers at the event included first secretary of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Germany Fikret Akhundov, cultural adviser on of the Russian Embassy Alexander Lopushinsky and counsellor of the Kyrgyz embassy Bubuira Abdyzhaparova.
Ashraf Heybatov, in his turn, expressed gratitude for the organization and presented one of his works to the House of Azerbaijan. Architect and painter living in Germany and amateur tar player Alakbar Aliyev performed at the event.
The event brought together employees of the Azerbaijan Embassy, the Coordination Center of Azerbaijanis in Germany, representatives of the Azerbaijani and Turkish Diasporas and others.
