Play on Nagorno Karabakh performed in Estonia

A premiere of “Nelipuhad” (“Four Seasons”) by British playwright David Edgar was held in the Estonian Drama Theatre on Sunday. The play deals with the conflicts taken place in 1990s and miserable lives of refuges and internally displaced persons as a result of wars.

Nagorno Karabakh conflict is also included to the play and as a victim of the war Rauf from Karabakh narrates his mournful life. Actor of the Estonian Drama Theatre Märt Avandi, who starred the role of Rauf, sometimes spoke Azerbaijani language at the stage. Sanam Aliyeva, charwoman of the Azerbaijani Sunday School was invited by the Estonian Drama Theater to the trainings for the pure pronunciation.
