Azeri film nominated for Student Academy Awards

The motion picture “The Swing of the Coffin Maker” by Azerbaijani young director Elmar Imanov, who is living in Germany, has been nominated in the Live Action Short Film category of 2012 Student Oscar Academy Awards.

The picture has entered the list of five bets films in the Foreign Language Film category.
Popular Azeri Actors Shamil Suleymanli and Rasim Jafarov have been casted for the film which narrates on the relations between father and son.

Five finalists, selected from 51 entries representing 29 countries, will advance in the Foreign Film category in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 39th Annual Student Academy Awards competition.
