An exhibition of Azerbaijani young painters co-organized by Azerbaijan Embassy in France and “Dirchelish” (“Revival”) Youth Social Psychological Rehabilitation Center opened here on Monday.
The exhibition was organized to mark the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relationship between Azerbaijan and France. Opening the ceremony, Azerbaijani ambassador to France Elchin Amirbayov highlighted the importance of the exhibition featuring 49 artworks by 11 artists.
Recalling the celebration of Novruz Holiday in Paris, the Azerbaijani ambassador touched upon the presentation of “Irs” (“Heritage”) magazine`s second edition in the French language.
Informing visitors on “Dirchelish” (“Revival”) Youth Social Psychological Rehabilitation Center, director of the facility Islam Bakhshaliyev praised progress achieved on the popularization of the Azerbaijani art in foreign countries.
Islam Bakhshaliyev said that the exhibition is dedicated to the Eurovision 2012, which will be held in Azerbaijan`s capital Baku in May. He presented center`s diploma to the ambassador.
Exhibition visitors familiarized themselves with art works by Leyla Ibrahimova, Bahriyya Aliyeva, Leyla Babayeva, Sevinj Seyidova, Atilla Rzazade, Fidan Aliyeva, Leyla Mirishova, Neman Abdullayev and others. The exhibition will last till Thursday.
