Gunesh Abbasova presents her entry for Eurofest

Gunesh Abbasova will be competing at the 2012 Eurofest final with the song Tell me why in her quest to represent Belarus at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku. The team behind her song is from Azerbaijan. BTRC is currently working round the clock for next Tuesday's Belarusian Eurovision national final which will take place in Minsk, Belarus.

Gunesh's entry Tell me why has been written and composed by an Azerbaijani team consisting of lyricist Zahra Badalbeyli and composer and producer Isa Melikov. Zahra is no new name on the Eurovision scene as she penned the lyrics for the very first Azerbaijani Eurovision entry Day after day, and most recently the lyrics for Eurovision winner Eldar Gasimov which he performed at this year’s Maltese Eurovision national final. Isa Melikov is an Azerbaijani music producer behind the countries’ 2009 participant AySel, and also led Eurovision winner Nikki Jamal to victory in the contest last year.
