Major road project to be soon completed in Baku

The bulk of construction work as a part of the project on reconstruction of Zia Bunyadov Prospect in Baku will be completed in 2012, but the final commissioning of the road is planned for 2013, Azerbaijani Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov told journalists.

He said  a large number of bridges and tunnels is under construction today and  infrastructure is also changed here. One of the road junction here will consist of three tunnels and a viaduct, and the remaining two junctions will be of tunnel type. Five road junctions are planned to be constructed on the Prospect.
