SOCAR works over modernization and development of chemical industry

Azerkimya Production association of SOCAR will commission operation installation of technical isopropyl alcohol plant Ethylene-polythene after reconstruction and modernization, says a report, SOCAR reported.

The statement was made in a working meeting on Monday under the chairmanship of SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev.

The reconstruction and modernization of the facility which was built in the 1950s have been initiated in connection with the fact that it is outdated, both physically and mentally.
Modernization will increase production and improve the quality of the product without any environmental impact.

Prior to the meeting Abdullayev viewed the sites which are planned for building a new fertilizer plant for urea production, as well as training and education center, which provides the training of highly qualified personnel needed for the development of chemical industry.
