IBA releases new report on e- banking services

International Bank of Azerbaijan has released the report on growth and development on Electron Banking Services in January-September, 2011. Bank says 346,000 operations in amount of 13.7mln manat were carried out in the report period. Some 93% of operations belong to mobile communication payments, 70% of operations in cash equivalents – to Kart Transfer service.

Most of use services among the Electron Banking products were Kart Transfer, Elektron Deposit and SMS Notification. Report says total volume of Electron deposits made 1.36mln manat in 9 months of 2011, while 292,000 manat deposit account was opened in 2009, 1.2mln manat deposit account – in 2010.

Although, number of operations carried out via ATMs was high (91% of total number), share of their cash equivalents decreases and made 25%. Share of Internet Banking in total amount of operations made 32% (19% in 2010), of Mobile Bank system – 7% (5% in 2010) and of information kiosks – 36% (21% in 2010).
