Provision of 3G services by Azerbaijani mobile operator Azercell are not contrary to the existing technical documents needed to provide these services, Deputy Communications and IT Minister Elmir Velizade told reporters yesterday.
Velizadeh called a license to provide 3G services and the availability of frequencies among the documents necessary for providing 3G services.
As reported earlier by the head of Azercell Ali Agan, launching 3G services with the participation of the Communications Ministry and the State Commission for Radio Frequencies shows the full legitimacy of their provision. In addition, he reiterated that the frequencies provided by the operators do not use B&BTV.
