Baku hosts handicraft fair

The Norwegian Humanitarian Enterprise (NHE) and Rotary Club of Baku International organized a fair called “Charity Bazaar” at the Hyatt Regency Baku Hotel on Sunday. Project manager of NHE Neal Williams provided information on the fair attended by representatives of diplomatic corps, foreign guests and Baku residents.

Neal Williams underlined that the local handicraft producers from different regions of Azerbaijan presented their homemade works in the exhibition fair. The event featured an international food court, activities for children, such as face painting, pottery making and raffles, Azeri jams and locally made food produce.

Best artisans were provided with small grants to improve their handicrafts for the tourism market in Azerbaijan.
