Russian government approves contract project on operation of energy systems with Azerbaijan

Russian government has approved the contract project on operation of energy systems in parallel to be signed between Azerbaijan and Russia, Press Service of Russian Cabinet of Ministers informed.

According to the project, Azerbaijan and Russia will agree the volume of power energy for own energy systems and provide the necessary technical situation and usage of energy objects.

The contract will be controlled by Russian Inter RAO EES, FSK EES and EES System Operator and Azerbaijani Azerenergy.

The contract will be signed in indefinite term, and the sides can bring to a stop a year after coming into force.
